Humber Training & Driver Solutions are a family-run, rapidly growing training and driver supply company based in Hull. We deliver a wide range of accredited training, including Forklift, Telehandler, CPC, ADR, and HGV driver training. Due to continued expansion, we’re looking for a qualified Forklift Instructor to join our professional and friendly team.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality forklift training (Counterbalance, Reach, Telehandler, PPT, and other categories if qualified), ensuring candidates are trained safely, effectively, and in line with ITSSAR standards.
This is a hands-on role that also involves classroom teaching, practical demonstrations, and assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging forklift operator training and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with current HSE, ITSSAR, and company standards.
- Maintain accurate learner records, registers, and assessment documentation.
- Carry out equipment and training area safety checks.
- Support the wider training team in maintaining high standards of quality and learner satisfaction.
Requirements
✅ Recognised Forklift Instructor qualification ITSSAR
✅ Previous industry experience operating MHE (Counterbalance, Reach, etc.).
✅ Excellent communication, motivation, and organisational skills.
✅ Commitment to health & safety and delivering top-quality training.
✅ Full UK Driving Licence.
